Terms of Service

By using the Orbit app or website, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Orbit.

Orbit is an AI-powered task and project management app for freelancers. It includes task and project management, time tracking, invoicing tools, AI features, and a client portal.

• You need an account to use most features.
• Provide accurate, complete information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

• Orbit Pro is an auto-renewable subscription. It costs $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year in US dollars, the same price wherever you buy it, and there is no free trial.
• In the iPhone and iPad app, Orbit Pro is sold through Apple's in-app purchase and billed to your Apple ID, and you manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. When our Android app launches, Orbit Pro bought there will be sold through Google Play, billed to your Google Play account, and managed or canceled in your Google Play account settings.
• On the Orbit web dashboard, Orbit Pro is sold through LemonSqueezy. LemonSqueezy is the Merchant of Record for those purchases: they are the seller for the transaction, they take the payment, they charge any sales tax or VAT that applies where you are, and they issue the invoice. Their terms apply to the purchase itself, and these Terms continue to govern your use of Orbit.
• The price, and any tax added to it, is shown at the time of purchase.
• For purchases made in the app, your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• A subscription bought on the web renews automatically until you cancel it. You manage your payment method, see your invoices, and cancel in LemonSqueezy's billing portal, which you reach from your Orbit dashboard.
• If you cancel, you keep Orbit Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• If prices change, we will give you prior notice.

• Bought on our website: if you subscribed to Orbit Pro on the web, you can ask for a full refund within 15 days of the date you were charged, for your first payment or a renewal. Email us at support@orbithq.net from your account's email address. LemonSqueezy, our Merchant of Record, issues the refund to your original payment method.
• A refunded subscription is canceled and Orbit Pro ends when the refund is issued. After the 15 days, web payments are not refundable, except where the law requires it. You can still cancel at any time to stop future renewals, and you keep Orbit Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Bought in the Apple App Store: Apple bills these subscriptions, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Subscriptions billed through Google Play are refunded by Google under Google Play's refund policies.
• We can help, but we cannot issue App Store or Google Play refunds ourselves.
• Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.

• You own the content you create in Orbit.
• You grant Orbit a limited license to host and process your content solely to operate and provide the service.

• You warrant that you have the right to enter and share the client information you store in Orbit.
• You are responsible for any portal links you share and for who can access them.

• Do not use Orbit for any illegal purpose.
• Do not attempt to interfere with the service or compromise its security.
• Respect other people you share your work with.

• AI features may produce inaccurate results. Review AI output before relying on it.
• AI output is not professional advice.
• Orbi can propose changes to your workspace, such as new tasks or a draft invoice. Proposed changes are applied only after you review and confirm them, and you are responsible for the changes you confirm.
• Orbi can't delete your data or send messages, emails, invoices, or quotes for you. Messages it drafts are for you to send yourself.
• AI features are subject to fair-use limits. With Orbit Pro, the Orbi assistant is limited to 200 messages per day.

Invoice templates are provided as a convenience. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your invoices and for their tax and legal compliance.

• Contracts is a Orbit Pro feature. It lets you send a contract to your client and have them sign it electronically on a hosted page, without an account.
• Orbit only provides the tool. We are not a party to any contract you send or sign through Orbit, we are not a law firm, and nothing in Orbit is legal advice.
• The starter contract templates are samples, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review a contract before you rely on it.
• You are responsible for the content of your contracts and for deciding whether an electronic signature is suitable for your contract and valid where you and your client are. Some documents, such as wills or property deeds, cannot be signed electronically in many places.
• Orbit records evidence of each signature (such as the signer's name and email, the time, their IP address, and a fingerprint of the contract), but it does not verify the signer's identity.
• Anyone who has a contract's link can view and sign it, so send it only to the person who should sign.
• If your Orbit Pro subscription ends, contracts you have already sent can still be signed, and you can still view and download your existing contracts, but you cannot create or send new ones.

• Orbit owns all rights, title, and interest in the app and its content, except for content you provide.
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute Orbit's content without permission.
• If you send us feedback, you grant us the right to use it to improve Orbit without obligation to you.

Orbit relies on third-party services, including Apple, Google, LemonSqueezy, and providers of cloud database and hosting, AI models, error monitoring, push notification delivery, email delivery, and bot protection. Your use of the service may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

• You may delete your account at any time in the app at Settings > Account > Delete Account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

• The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orbit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Orbit harmless from claims arising out of your content, your clients' data, or your misuse of the service.

If you download Orbit from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:

• These Terms are between you and Orbit, not Apple.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• Apple is not responsible for any product claims, intellectual property claims, or legal compliance related to the app.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.

We may update these Terms. Changes are effective upon posting, and continued use constitutes acceptance.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Orbit.
