The essentials

Everything a task needs, nothing it doesn't

Orbit's tasks are built for independent work: quick to add, easy to scan, and connected to the client and project they belong to.

  • Clear statuses

Move work through To Do, In Progress, Blocked and Done, and filter your list by any of them.

  • Four priority levels

Mark tasks Low, Medium, High or Critical so the urgent work stands out in every list.

  • Due dates and times

Give a task a due date and, when it matters, a time. Overdue work is flagged at the top.

  • Checklists and subtasks

Break work down with a quick checklist, or into subtasks that have their own status and due date.

  • Tags

Tag tasks your way and filter by tag to pull related work together.

  • Recurring tasks

Repeat a task daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or on a custom schedule, and Orbit creates the next one for you.

On iPhone and iPad

The same tasks in your pocket

On iPad your task list and the selected task sit side by side. On iPhone tasks are grouped by day, overdue first, with a board view one tap away.

  • Status and priority filters in a single row
  • Checklist progress right on each task card
  • Everything syncs with the web dashboard

Smart status

Status that keeps itself current

Smart status is free on every plan: tick off the last subtask and the task moves to Done; check off the first one and a To Do task moves to In Progress.

  • Starting a timer moves a To Do task to In Progress
  • Adding a subtask to a Done task reopens it
  • Orbit Pro adds custom automation rules of your own

Get started

Organized in three steps

  1. Add your tasks

Give each one a title, a due date and a priority. Add a checklist or subtasks if it's a bigger job.

  2. Link them to your work

Attach tasks to a project or client so every list, filter and report knows where they belong.

  3. Work the list

Start with what's overdue and due today, complete tasks as you go, and let smart status keep the rest current.
